Andrea's View
I have great memories of Snetterton from previous visits. Back in 1997, Alain Menu was crowned champion there as well as Jason Plato taking his maiden victory on what was a sweltering hot day. In years past Snetterton was a venue for BTCC night races and the place was buzzing. The drinks were flowing, the barbecues were cooking and laughter could be heard from the campsite. It was a great weekend.
There are two very fast straights along with the fast corner of Coram Curve. On the exit the drivers are hard on the brakes for the chicane. Expect lots of action here as it's a place perfect for overtaking as long as you get it just right.
Word of advice for those attending Snetterton - get there early to avoid the traffic! There is one road in and out of Norfolk. However the access has been improved in recent times due to a new bridge and access road being built. See you there!
Fan's View: Getting there by public transport - Contributed by "Tom Jones"
"Train to Thetford (most people changing at Peterboro' to get on this, unless you're coming from London via Norwich) and a lovely flat Norfolk bike ride up the A47 to the circuit - dead easy. About half an hour's worth. You're miles from anywhere though so get some food in Thetford or bring it from home. Camping is no problem (usual with BHL) but the ground is a little rocky so pick carefully. Tents are optional here as most people go for an all nighter - leave the tent and put some tins on the bike."
